DSE and Karuk Tribe Wildlife Team Presenting at World Bank Conference

DSE is heading to D.C. for the upcoming World Bank Conference: Measuring Development 2025: Biodiversity on Land and at Sea on April 29th.

 

As part of the conference, McKalee Steen, Graduate Student Researcher, Magali de Bruyn, Senior Program Manager with DSE, and Emilio Tripp and Jessica Camarena from the Karuk Tribe Wildlife Team will speak on a panel titled "Frontier Developments in Using AI to Measure Biodiversity Change in the Lab and in the Field." This is an incredible opportunity to co-present our approaches to and learnings from in biodiversity monitoring in the context of Indigenous data sovereignty and Indigenous environmental stewardship.
