Lucia Layritz
Lucia is a Postdoctoral researcher with the Eric and Wendy Schmidt Center for Data Science and Environment at UC Berkeley, where she supports the National Park Service Climate Change Decision Support project. Lucia studies the impact of climate change on ecosystem regeneration after disturbances, including wildfires and human-made disruptions such as armed conflicts.

McKalee Steen
McKalee Steen is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and a PhD candidate in the Environmental Science, Policy, and Management Department at UC Berkeley. Her work sits at the intersection of Indigenous Environmental Studies, land use change studies, and spatial data science.
